In May 2014, Knight Foundation hosted 100 civic innovators at a Civic Innovation in Action Studio in Miami to explore ways to harness talent, advance opportunity, and promote robust engagement. While the others including Natalie Jeremijenko, Deborah Marton, Bryan Boyer et al. looked at the changing landscape of work, and creative placemaking, Turnstone’s Rachel Abrams got involved in the last of these three groups, focused on civic participation.
