For the United Nations’ 70th General Assembly, the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General invited Turnstone, one of two selected graphic facilitators, to visually record global leaders’ adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sitting with the world’s presidents and prime ministers and civil society leaders at the three day Sustainable Development Summit, we produced images about the seventeen SDGs for the UN’s social media. These graphic summaries were also (briefly) projected into the General Assembly (the green marble chamber you see on TV when premiers address the UN). UN.org featured this short film of the illustrations produced during the 2015 UN General Assembly Sustainable Development Summit.
